ROUND TWO: MONSTERS

ROUND TWO IS UP

The theme this time is monsters—ghosts, zombies (and I won't be picky and go on about the technical definitions of monsters in their mythological roles and how those don't count), and other supernatural creatures!

Our entry must be in by the end of the day on July seventh. Slight problem—I'm probably not going to be here on the seventh, and I'm pretty much definitely not going to be here the whole week leading up to it. I'm leaving on the thirtieth to spend a week in a beach cottage with no Internet! I might be able to find a library in the city near it, but there's a high chance I'll be too engrossed in the fact that I'm in a city to do that.

That said! Casey has volunteered to be my vice-palhoncho, and so I'm going to ask that you all forward your submissions to him, too, at goblin.alchemist@gmail.com. Here's basically what the plan is going to be:

  1. Everyone interested in creating something for this round should comment here to let us know, keeping in mind that everything is supposed to be anonymous for the time being! Keep in mind that collaborating with each other to make one entry together is more than encouraged, and if you would like to form partnerships or teams or just have everybody work on one thing, that's fine!
  2. Entries should be e-mailed to me at strawberryfunk@gmail.com and Casey at goblin.alchemist@gmail.com by the end of the day on July 4th.
  3. Assuming we have more than one entry, all of them will be posted up at the beginning of June 5th/end of June 4th (depending on when I get the submissions), and there will be a completely anonymous voting among the team for which entry gets sent off! (Last year, for those who weren't a part of the HSO, there was a community meant for all of the works that didn't end up as the team's round entry, so don't worry about yours going to waste or anything!) By sometime the night of July 7th, we'll have our entry sent in.
